Research Topics:
Internet routing protocols and their working environments,
especially IP multicast routing architecture and the deployment including
implementations of IP multicast capable kernel and user code, have been
studied for more than decade.
Designing effective satellite communication
architecture with bi-directional emulation, in order to make it one of
the major Internet infrastructures, was also included in my research target.
Information-Centric Networking and the related technologies are my recent research topics as they would be the key functions for enabling the future Internet or the new generation network. Study of realtime streaming architecture including adaptive rate control mechanisms and high-quality P2P streaming applications is highly motivated for a social contribution.
My research on wireless networking is about routing protocols,
group communication, and a practical self-organized secure mechanism.
Standardization of Internet Protocol with participating
in several IETF WGs is important
to my research part.
